- Poor participation in terms of fundraising.
- If we do this again, consider making students buy tickets to partcipate in the activity.

- Sat June 5
- Looking for volunteers to help run stations / setup / cleanup etc
- Consider reducing the number of volunteers required by bringing in food (pizza?) in lieu of BBQing on site - PRO Grant for "Parent resource centre" approved
- looking for input from parents as to what resources would be useful (ESL books? parenting books? educational aid (how to help your student)?)
- how to make resources available? special hours? request froms via students?

- some drivers not being careful in the school parking lot when dropping off their children in the morning
- reminder in the next newsletter regarding parking lot safety, keeping in mind there are little children in the parking lot
- recommend parking your car to let your children off - Before / after school program:
- lots of logistical issues, very expensive - Schools on the move skating program
- next year, helmets will be mandatory (at this time school not in a position to be providing helmets) - Family Skate Night
- helmets will likely be mandatory, Jacqueline to follow-up if family skate night will be possible this year - Using funds raised
- teachers have shown an interest in using funds for a) drumming instruction for all teachers interested, b) scientist in the classroom type special guests and c) story tellers
- final decisions will be made among the staff as the best way to distribute funds - Silver Birch / Blue Spruce
- funds will be provided to assist with the support of the library's Silver Birch and Blue Spruce programs
