Mar 30 meeting highlights

John Campbell (school trustee):

• discussed possibility of parents being involved (board wide) in Principal interview process
• discussed feasibility studies for TDSB specialty schools (all boys, all girls, choir and athletic). No busing would be available for these students. 

Mrs. Black:

• presented potential models for classroom grade to teacher assignments for next year
• many parents raised concerns over the implications of split grade classrooms in both the regular (English) and especially the French Immersion streams
• some parents indicated that they would be voicing their concerns to TDSB personnel (our School Trustee [John.Campbell at tdsb.on.ca], our Superintendent [Ian.Allison at tdsb.on.ca] and the Supervising Principal of the French Immersion Program [Linda.Ireland at tdsb.on.ca])
